<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Tahoma;">The   report is summarizing the outcome of a long research work during the project   based on a detailed research plan. Different techniques were used to collect possible   Good practices of ICT use in the European Higher Educational arena. The cases   were categorized in 9 territories.<span>&nbsp; </span>Upon agreed definition we selected (shortlisted) those where at least   two criteria of excellence could be observed. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Tahoma;">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Tahoma;">Based   on the good practices, detailed data was gathered about the selected practices   with different techniques, most commonly by updating or making interviews   with the representatives of the institution. Finally more than 35 detailed cases   were quantitatively analyzed by a common grid of 30 questions in 9 areas from   management to<span>&nbsp; </span>communication. The   analysis shows the most frequently<span>&nbsp; </span>cited common elements in respective areas that lead to good practice, as   well as some territory specific outcomes where some aspects were cited only   in one or two territory cases. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Tahoma;"><span>&nbsp;</span>The virtual peer reviews have been adapted   to the needs of the HEIs involved and have also been present in the main   project seminars and workshops via virtual exchanges and group discussions.   The 9 Peer Reviews have been carried out in 2 steps.</span></p>

<title><![CDATA[SHARE workshop]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>HEXTLEARN, SEVAQ+, REVIVE: three Lifelong Learning Programme projects dealing successfully with quality assessment of ICT-supported learning and teaching. Put the letters of their acronyms in a bag, shake it up, and one of the words which comes out is: SHARE! The respective approaches applied by the projects can be summarised as peer-review, self-evaluation and reflective curriculum designing through quality assessment. But are they fundamentally different or are there points of intersection? What synergies could be developed for the wider benefit of lifelong learning organisations? The aim of this 90-minute SHARE workshop is to engage participants in exploring these three approaches, apply them concretely to a real-life case-study and design scenarios in which they could be used in synergy. It will take place at the EDEN research workshop in Budapest (see website).</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial; color: #585858;">The  course, which will be delievred in Spanish, will be delivered rom 3  November 2010 to 16 March 2011 and the speakers will include: George  Siemens, professor of Tekri-Athabasca University and Henry Jenkins, </span><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial; color: #585858;">professor of</span><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial; color: #585858;"> University of Southern California, plus Dolors Capdet, from ICE of the  Universitat de &nbsp;Barcelona, Max Ugaz,&nbsp; from&nbsp; Universidad &nbsp;San Mart&iacute;n de  Porres (Per&uacute;) and Claudio Dondi, president of EFQUEL. &nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial; color: #585858;">The training sessions will use Elluminate Live and Second Life for the virtual tutoring.&nbsp; <br /></span></p>
