The name is coming from the longer: Recommendations Wiki term, which suggest that you will read recommendations for ICT Good practice in a Wiki format. The purpose of the WikiMendations service is:
Your recommendations will be disseminated to people who are working on the same field as you. The Hextlearn community consist of colleagues from other European HE institutions, so you become a member of a group who can build a Real network ICT experts. You may be invited to participate in further ICT research in the framework of HEXTLEARN project and your recommendations may be referred and later quoted in research reports. Hextlearn community will help you better understand your positioning in the European HE panorama in the specific field you are insterested in.
The Sharing Practice is a committing and valuable exercise. It does imply an exchange of information that involves copyright and confidentiality aspects.
