What is the HEXTLEARN PEER REVIEW?


The Hextlearn peer review approach is a scalable exchange of information and learning among representatives of Higher Education institutions about the use of ICT for learning using web 2.0 and making emphasis on networking.


WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PEER REVIEW?


The purpose of the Peer Review is to explore, with colleagues from other universities agreed to participate, the developments related to the use of e-learning within the university according to 9 aspects so as to enhance quality.
These aspects -the so-called territories- are:


  1. Campus education

  2. Corporate training

  3. Continuing professional development

  4. Adult education

  5. Local and regional development

  6. Schools teachers’ training

  7. Distance education

  8. International (virtual) mobility

  9. Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) for guidance and employment


WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING IN THE PEER REVIEW?


The peer review team and particularly the peer reviewers will be colleagues from other HE institutions that will be your “critical friends” and will guide you through a process to better understand your positioning in the European HE panorama in the specific field you are interested in.
