What is the Sharing Practice?
The This service is an effective tool to participate in the community actively by sharing your ICT practice with other members of the community and to see, comment and rate other members’ practices they are proud of.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE SHARING PRACTICES?
The purpose of the service is:
to disseminate your institution’s Good practice among the members of the community,
to get feedback from a professional community,
to find and explore Good practices,
to comment and rate Good practices,
to offer an overview on ICT Good Practices all around Europe in order to be able to position your institution,
to go further on the “HEXTLEARN road” in case your Practice receives positive feedback and rating by starting an informal Peer Review process.
These aspects --territories-- are:
Campus education
Corporate training
Continuing professional development
Adult education
Local and regional development
Schools teachers’ training
Distance education
International (virtual) mobility
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) for guidance and employment
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SHARING PRACTICE?
Your practice will be disseminated in a friendly and informal way targeted to people who are working on the same field as you. The community will feed you back and rate your practice to give you reward, acknowledgement, ideas for further development and maybe possibilities of further collaboration. The Hextlearn community consist of colleagues from other European HE institutions, so you become a member of a group who can build a Real network ICT experts. You may be invited to participate in further ICT research in the framework of HEXTLEARN project and your Practice may be referred and later quoted in research reports. Hextlearn community will help you better understand your positioning in the European HE panorama in the specific field you are interested in.
EXPLANATION OF THE PROCESS TO BE INVOLVED IN THE HEXTLEARN SHARING PRACTICE
The Hextlearn peer review is an effective networking service among representatives of High Education institutions about the use of ICT for learning using web 2.0.
